| Outcomes and Results: | And this is how the children from kindergarten 37 “Plamuche” (“Little flame” in EN), Varna celebrated the World Food Day on 16th October 2017. Group 4 “Chereshka” (“Little cherry” in EN) made the “Lava in a cup” experiment. All kids joined with great interest and desire. The children from group 4 “Slunce” (“Sun” in EN) learned interesting things about the properties of some foods via the experiments “Does it float or does it sink?”,"Lava in a cup","How to separate salt from black pepper?". The most surprising experiment was the one with an egg – “A naked egg”. Following the teachers’ initiative the children experienced also an experiment called “Foam” /mixing vinegar and backing soda/ - it triggered great interest and a strong reaction from the little ones. The children from group 3 “Temenuzhka” (“The flower violet” in EN) joined with great interest in the HealthEDU project. The world food day was celebrated with active participation in several experiments. With great interest and curiosity they looked forward to the results from the experiments. The children from group 2 “Rose” also joined the initiative with an exhibition and a “Vegetables parade”. All participants were really interested in the activities, had great fun and learned many new and useful things. | |
